Have you ever bought something through a MyLot ad? I did yesterday!

As I've mentioned before, I like to visit sites like LL Bean, Guitar Center, and eBay while MyLotting, in hopes that Crying Oprah will disappear and be replaced by ads of interest to me. Just seeing tasteful clothing, guitars, and speakers makes me smile, so it's worth it. Yesterday, I took it one step further and actually BOUGHT some guitar strings via a MyLot ad from a company that had Elixir guitar strings on sale. Elixirs are the coated guitar strings that I use on my guitars, and they had them for about $5 off for a set of three. I chose to order by phone, the guy on the line was professional, and there were no hidden costs (taxes or shipping charges). The strings will be here in two days. Have you actually bought something through a MyLot ad?

The only adverts that I tend to notice are the ones that attempt to cover whatever I am reading, which I simply want to get rid of.

Any product that does that goes on my "no buy" list.

@TheHorse That is a fair point, the adverts are targeted.

Yes, I get tired of Oprah crying too. I had Oprah and Ellen crying for awhile. Ugh! Glad you found a good deal on something you could use. I never seem to have that luck.

Guitar strings are pretty straightforward. When the price is good, I jump.

Not so far. I did see a product that would be useful. A tile that will help me find my phone or keys or other things!
