Do you watch a movie more than once and why?

United States

Once I watch a movie, I have no desire to watch it again. Thank goodness my husband is the same way so we have no piles of DVD's taking up space. With that said, there are a few movies I have watched more than once. When certain movies come on the TV they 'call to me' to watch them. Two of my favorites are: * Steel Magnolias * Driving Miss Daily Since I have not driving after moving south 15 years ago my husband says he likes to Drive Miss Abby! I guess that's why I keep watching that movie. When it comes to Steel Magnolias I've told you about the beauty shop I used to frequent and how it could have been the one owned by Dolly Parton in Steel Magnolias. I also get a kick of the silliness and I cry over the sad stuff. What about you? What movie do you watch more than once and why? Photo: pixabay.com/en/film-cinema-video-camera-1328405/

I don't usually watch a movie more than once but if either Grease or Dirty Dancing or Pretty Woman come on I am hooked. I've seen those movies quite a few times

I don't watch T.V. much anymore. Nor do I watch movies. But when I do then there are only handful of movies I had watched so many times that I have lost count. They never get old.

I only watch TV early am for the news, then in the evening...but my husband can watch a show or a movie any time day or night.

I do rewatch movies from time to time. At one time I was obsessed with The Lost Boys and had a thing about Kiefer Sutherland. I also enjoyed Flatliners in which he starred with Kevin Bacon and Julia Roberts. Don't have the time these days to keep watching movies.

I have watched "Gone With The Wind" many times, because it is my favorite movie. Another movie that I think is very well made that I have watched around 5 times is "Forrest Gump". The story line is so good.

Yes, Good Ol' Forrest - I forgot about that one. A place we stayed in Beaufort, SC two years in a row - part of the movie was filed right there - the guy's dock was supposed to be the place Forrest and the Captain bought. The dock they sat on - him in the wheelchair - was right across from it.

There are movies that I have watched more than once and that I would love to watch again, one of them is Casablanca. My husband loves to pile up DVDs, because you never know if you want to watch a movie again He definitely is a hoarder.

sometimes I do, often not. I love Mamma Mia, but I use it as background noise more than I actually sit and watch it.

If a movie I've already seen happens to come on TV and I don't have anything else to watch, I'll generally watch it, provided I enjoyed it the first time, of course! lol I don't have any DVDs here, either. I gave all of mine away before I moved.

Many times I fall asleep at the end of middle of a movie and hope that it will come back on so I can see what I missed!

There are some movies I watch several times like Christmas movies with my family every year. I will watch most Disney movies more than once as well. Other than that I don't watch movies more than once.

It is rare for me to watch a film a second time and only happens when there is nothing else on television. This is why I do not buy DVD's apart from music ones.

In the winter when we spend more time inside my husband likes to watch movies, we get DVD's at the local 'pawn shop' - you buy a few and then when you turn them back in you get credit toward the next one.

I love the music in Driving Miss Daisy. Fly Away Home is fantastic even though parts of me cry cause of the Mom and daughter crash scene and its incredible song. Prancer is supposed to be a kid movie but its really not. I watch that more than at Christmas time- poverty and a little girl needing magic and her Mom and a Dad who isn't worrying about how to keep the Farm.

Some movies I will watch when I see them. Like Grease, The Good Witch Movies, Breakfast with Scott. Katherine Heigl Movies, The Parent Trap with Hayley Mills, and the other one with Dennis Quaid, other movies that I haven't seen for a long time. I don't buy them though. There are so many on TV all the time.

I very rarely ever watch a movie again as there is always a movie I have not seen to watch. I have seen Casablanca several times and Miracle on 34th Street more than several. A few others a second time but that's it.
