I was a regular at Bubblews. Why didn't I know about this site?

I was "Knitting" over at Bubblews.
I stumbled across this site today, out of the blue, and already I see lots of people I recognise from over there. I did wonder where you had all gone!
One of the saddest things for me when the bubble burst and the site vanished, was losing all of the "friends" that I had build up from my time over there.
So hi all - I'm back!!

Bubblews sucked
It paid a lot of money (not that I was ever paid) but it wasn't really a place for discussions.
Mylot is way better in every way and it is more honest and stable.
Give it a week and you'll seethe money isn't great but the site and people as a whole are better.

@YesWay Bubblews never had the back and forth you often get on here.
Sometimes discussions go on for weeks

@Mike197602 I like that. I can already tell that I'm going to enjoy chatting on here.
And I haven't seen so much as one "nice post" comment which is a real refreshing change!

I don't think we knew each other on the Bubble or did we? I tried to tell as many people as I could in the dying days to get over here and many of them did. Glad you found us.

I used to post on Bubblews a year ago then my sister told me about this site. It is sad to know that Bubblews no longer exist but I am glad that we have a new site where we can post our ideas while making new friends. Welcome back!

Mylot has been around for a long time.
Unfortunately during the days of Bubblews, Mylot stopped paying for a while.
A few months or a year or so after Bubblews closed down, Mylot started to pay again, so we all return to it.
Most of us have been with Mylot since 2008 or 2009.

I was on Bubblews from 2013 until all the big changes then kinda left the website only popping in from time to time to see how things were.
What was your username there, I can't remember a "knitting"

@YesWay Oh I guess that we did miss each other, I was there from March 2013 until all the big changes in Oct 2014, then kind of left the website. Nice to see you here :)

@kevin1877uk I got there a bit later than you then. Think I joined over there about mid 2014 and was there for a year.
I was Knifting over there too - I guess we just missed each other.

welcome to mylot! yepperz, lots 'f folks from there came this direction to hang their hats. so glad ya finally made the journey. i jest wish that some'd kept their usernames coz i've missed quite a few not knowin' who the heck they were, lol.

For a time Bubblews, with its unsustainable pay-out scheme, became almost all-consuming. Many of its members probably had no reason go look for other paying sites.

@asfarasiknow absolutely. I for one was at one point making ten posts a day over there plush ne'er acting a lot with other members. Looking back, I'm not sure how I found the times to do that!

Hey, I'm glad you found us! I didn't come to MyLot right away, was on Persona Paper first. Lots of Bubblers went there, but unfortunately, they don't pay any more (the site is still there). Some people are continuing to write for free, just to write and socialize.

@alicanary I did try persona paper for a while actually. I was over there as "Coffee". I think I knew you over there.
