Finally, I Am Granted With A New Zealand Visa

Ye hey !
Ladies and gentlemen of this Mylot universe, I am so happy today.The NZ Immigration officer messaged me telling me that they would grant me a visa , but only good for 1 year. Further, my passport expires May 17 2017, so they have to give me options: to post the visa to my passport good until February to allow me to come back to Philippines and renew my passport or, to renew my passport first before they will post the visa .
I am thinking and resolving.What a sacrificial visa. I hope I can come with the right decision. My first choice is to have them post the visa so I can fly to NZ and come back in February, for it might be hard for me to return my passport to their office and to wait for another months. I hope my decision is right.
Will it be right? Thank you lotters.Take care all.

So you see, I told you you'll have it. At least it was approved. If it would be advantageous for you to just come back here in February, then go for it.

@acelawrites , I will go there after the first semester class is over and that is end of October, but there are so many requirements every end of the sem for clearance signing.Most probably 2nd week of November.Thanks friend.

Ms. Erly, I think it would be good if you renew your passport first so you would not need to come home in February. That would be an unnecessary and costly expense for the round-trip fare. Renewing your passport in advance would be much cheaper. Besides, if you can find work there, you would not need to cut your employment just to renew your passport in February.

@sunrisefan, I was told by DFA, cannot renew this time for the expiry date is still so far May 17 next year.they won't allow for they are waiting for the final directive for a passport tp expire good for 10 years under new admin.

@sunrisefan , hehehehe my partner is from new Zealand he is the one supporting me financially in this application.The visa I applied is partnership visa with work visa.Now th secret is revealed.

@cacay1 Ah okay. It will then be costly on your part. Marry a New Zealander right away so you won't have to come home in February hehehe! My daughter called me tonight and asked me to sell our Hilander. She wants to buy me a new car hehehe!

Congratulations! I know you've been waiting for this and if I'm not mistaken you even had to re-apply before - so I can imagine how happy and what a relief it must be to have it finally granted. Do you have to come back to the Philippines to renew your passport? Can't you renew it at the Philippines embassy in New Zealand?3 people like this

@cacay1 what job did you apply for in New Zealand?
Was suppose to work in New Zealand as well as a farm hand for a friend's farm. the task include picking apples and working with her herd of cattle. She was surprised when she learned my background, said I was overqualified for the job. I told her I'll work for food and accommodations. She said that she might get in trouble with the labor ministry if she hired a 'foreigner' as a farm help.

@allen0187 , I will teach there find. I was already assessed by New Zealand Qualification Authority. I will teach in private college, hiring on March and ends May.

@Drosophila , yes, in fact I have so many pictures taken in Auckland. I been there 6 times already as a visitor for 1 month only every summer.
