I just lost a post. I don't have time..

There I was, half done with my post, and it just left the screen on me. I had close to 250 words. All gone! Please add drafting and auto-save to the site. I don't have time to re-write it now. Disappointing!

You sure are not alone, I had that happen to me too but I'm unique in that I'm retired so I had time to rewrite but the feeling I had was grrrrrrrr words to express it I do not think would be permitted here

I hope they would consider adding such a feature because imagine loosing a post and then the only thing is trying to remember what you had initially written.

I get angry when it happens with responses/comments, with a discussion it would be much worse. But it won't ever happen to me, I write and save on notepad/wordpad first, then I copy and paste.

Sorry to hear that. I have had it happen to me a few times but luckily I was never that far into it. It is still frustration though when you take the time to write and then its gone just like that.

I would love there to be drafts, I'd write in drafts and save as I went before posting!
