Cloudy morning

Just finished delivering the boys to work. Don't start myself for nearly another hour yet.
One thing I like to do here in this situation is go for a walk. The Sackville Waterfowl Park is just a short distance from where I work. I intend to put together a slideshow of the place and post it here one of these days. Going only a little out of my way I can walk from work to downtown through the park. A lot of the locals do exactly that.
The photo above was taken from my tablet this morning from the north end of the park. The buildings sticking out above the trees in the background are from Mount Allison University, one of the most prestigious in Canada. Highest rate of Rhodes Scholars in the country.

My day went well though it started with heavy rain, it stopped before we left him for work.

The picture doesn't do it justice. It is quite scenic and worthy of a visit all by itself.

It is. This little town has a surprising amount of tourist value. I'm surprised more people don't do more than just pass through.

I can see that but the slideshow when I get it done (and I don't have time right now) should dispel that. If you could zoom in on the clump of birds close to the purple flowers in the photo you'd sandpipers.

It is beautifully located. If I have to walk downtown from work for any reason I will walk the boardwalks unless I am really pressed for time.

I'm not really expecting it to this time. It's coming off the Bay of Fundy. Something from that direction rolled up the coast and sticks around for awhile.

After saying that and coming home from work, it did burn off and the day has become rather pleasant albeit windy.

The slide show is going to be fun! It's nice you have a good walking place near where you work. Nice picture, it looks chilly which makes me want to be there.

I have lots of photos for that but I have to transfer them over and then upload them. Quite a lot of work and I'd like to do a more professional job this time around. May take me awhile.

Until I moved out here, I'd never heard of it either. If you watch the Canadian news on TV much, I'm sure you're familiar with Peter Mansbridge. He is currently the chancellor. Quite a number of prominent Canadians have come through the doors of Mount A.

No it doesn't. There are places in the park that are spectacularly beautiful even in the winter and fall. I should try to include picture in the potential slideshow from all the seasons.
