A Roof Comes Down

United States
August 26, 2016 7:09pm CST
My husband and brother have been busy dismantling the trailer on his property. The roof is the first to go. The materials are then transported by my husband to our place. Soon the roof will be placed on our trailer. Hoping to have it done by the end of next month. Once the trailer is completely removed, my brother will be building a garage. My husband will assist with that as well. Good thing they get along.

The roof is almost ready to be shingled. They have been working long hours to get it done.

Getting stuff done is so much quicker and easier with a bit of help. We used to have a lot of 'working bees' with Vin's brothers, helping each other with larger projects.

If my nephew would only lend a hand it would be done sooner.

The roof was a little tedious to rip down. They had to take care removing the shingles.

@ElusiveButterfly sure it could not be an easy job,it`S better to take care than break the shingles

I am anxious to see how our place will look with the new roof. It will also increase the value of it too.

The materials aren't that old. There is a lot of life left to them. We may need to buy more shingles but that isn't much.

There is still one more part to rip down. That will be the project for next week.
