I Could Have Bought a 2005 Toyoya Tarago Ultima Van!

August 29, 2016 9:50pm CST
My old car, which my 18 year-old son shares the driving with me. He needs one of his own because, this 1992 Falcon SW has been to the mechanic, at least every month, lately, every two weeks, with which my son can't share with the expenses that's mounting our credit bills. That's a real pain. My accounting tells me that we could have paid off $5,000 for a nice 2005 Tarago Ultima van with the mechanic repairs since my car started getting problematic. Sigh!

Ah, that's always the way it goes with older cars... Perhaps it's time to get rid of it... At least cut the losses somehow...

You are fortunate that the cost of vans and cars are very cheap. Over here, cars and vans are up to 10 years only, and the government will want you to scrape the vehicles once the 10 years is up. If you want to extend, you have to pay for a very high price for the extension.
