I suppose so and she belongs to my daughter. She is a Chihuahua-Papillion mix and we finally met her last weekend. She weighs two+ pounds and may get to four. While she is not the dog I would have chosen, my daughter thinks she is great. I sort of volunteered to baby sit this tiny thing for five days while my daughter attends a work event next week. My wife and I will try hard not to step on this little thing. Actually she is pretty playful and it might be fun. Oh, did i mention that she is not totally house broken and does not walk on a leash yet? She WILL sleep in her kennel however.

Reminds me very much of Cookie, the chihuahua who belongs to my daughter's ex. My daughter says she misses Cookie much more than the ex! The picture shows Cookie with the first stick she found for herself. To give an indication of scale, it was all of 13in long!

@JamesHxstatic I gather chihuahuas - well, small dogs in general - are notoriously difficult to housebreak. When we last saw Cookie, she was about 3, and still making liquid mistakes!

I remember those days with our Sally dog. Sally started out that size. Little blue guinea pig pup. Once or maybe three times she suddenly was behind me. I stepped on her. She screamed and I screamed : I just broke my pup! Oh Lord how do I tell the Vet why she has a gimpy foot? And the issue of her not falling off the couch or getting her paw caught in the recliner. I wish you tons of luck.

Ohhhh, thank you. I will surely need it. I work for a while next Sunday, so I told Anne she is on the "entertainment" schedule.

My cousin has three of those tiny dogs, they can make a mess when they are home alone. The tiny dog of your daughter anyway looks very cute.

my hubby would call that an overgrown RAT - but each owner loves their own dogs

Wow - her ears are nearly as big as the rest of her! I hope it's going well and that she has not taken over the house completely.

They are not my type of dog either. I suppose they're cute in some kind of way and yes, be careful not to step on it!

Looks like a giant rat creature. Lassie would be embarrassed at the association lol.

I am not looking forward to being seen with her by my friends. Maybe I will wear a bag on my head. What was that old saying, "Bag my face?"

Yep it's a dog. a tiny one that is. My mom prefers small dogs. I go with the big ones. Our house has more small dogs than big ones.

I think chihuahuas are incredibly cute looking but have heard they have a fiesty temperament. I think they have a lot of character though.
