Progress Report - Unpacking & Olympics

It has been another good day. I cleared out a few more boxes from my living room, and found my colander so I can make anything pasta again. YEA! I also relocated some boxes to my office from the living room, so they will also get unpacked soon and get taken care of. It's all coming together, slow but sure. I can see a huge difference in the living room. Soon it will look like it's supposed to.
While unpacking I watched another day of Olympics and erased that off my DVR. Today it was the first of the Women's Gymnastics. Awesome, though I felt bad for Gabby Douglas who didn't make it to the All Around. Simone Biles on the other hand - WOW! Also saw the Men's 4X100 and Michael Phelps 19th Olympic medal, this one Gold. Katie Ledecky (?) also got Gold for her 400 meter swim. So a good day for the US. I know most of you already saw these events. I'm just getting to them and a great way to watch them is while unpacking.
I also cleared out another day of notifications this morning and am going to take care of another day before I go to bed, which I planned to do around 8 as I need to be awake for when my son gets here with the car and I take him to his girlfriend's, and then come back for more sleep before I head for the Y tomorrow morning.
So that's the progress report. When I have it done, I will have pictures of the finished apartment. It will look great!

Sounds like you got a lot accomplished today. Today is also Labor Day here in Canada. We spent to travelling home from our vacation. It was a beautiful day for travelling. Sad to see it come to an end. Back to work in the morning.

You are going to be back to normal real soon. Smart to tape the Olympics so you can watch it at your leisure. Great progress!

@celticeagle I am almost fully unpacked. My living room is clear now. Now to move onto the office and that won't take long either.

Most of the boxes are out of the living room. Only a small handful left. I have them sorted to the rooms they belong in, so unpacking those will go fast, except for the kitchen which is now bulging at the seams and I still have more to put away somewhere.

watching that woman swim was pretty amazing.
I did not. I read, and cleaned a ton. And worked really hard on not saying mean things, some things needed said, but not in a mean way, even if I was feeling hurt, being mean just puts me at fault too, when I wasnt to begin with, and I was trying not to do that.

I'm glad to hear the unpacking is going well and it's slowly coming to an end. I didnt watch much of the Olympics this year as it didn't really interest me at all. I heard US got the most medals though.

That's great! No, I don't miss the house. It was in need of too much renovation. It will be interesting to see if they tear the house down as they've done a lot of older homes around here. Yes, the unpacking is going well and I should be done soon.

Been going pretty well. I'm glad that my technical assistants & consultants did their job well on the documents I assigned to them. Just finished reviewing their work.
