I Learned an Important Lesson Today

Marshes are a great way to get some beautiful nature shots. However, they are not a good choice one day after a torrential downpour. Needless to say, it was pretty darn wet in there, with most trails looking like this one. And, I couldn't walk around the puddles either. The water was deeper in the taller grass.

@srhelmer - SteveO - Just a little water, that's all. Grows good skeeters and frogs, tall grasses, and lots of mud. Nature likes marshes. We like marshmallows. (It's a draw, I suppose.) By the way, I like your critter posts. -Gus-
