This One Is Not Like the Others

I'm not a bird expert so I'm not sure if this is a different type of gull or just a younger one that still has brown feathers. The bird books really don't help with that.

I have seen several like that here in Garden Grove with a bunch of other sea gulls I thjink they are young gulls. I know whenm they land to eat the fish the grocery store throws out the older gulls get first choice and the one with brown feathers got pecked at sjen she tried to get his fish lol

I have always heard that the young gulls have the brown feathers.
