Unique to myLot, not just copied. . .

Just a tip for those who want to copy their blogs over to myLot, a while back the admins have said that all content on this site needs to be original and not found elsewhere on line. So, please make sure your content is unique to the site - otherwise, there is a high chance that it will be reported - and potentially removed by the admin. I assume that this is to prevent the excuse of "oh, but I did write it" excuse, which is totally unverifiable.

How if we use same topic but we manually rewrite it?

The same topic is fine ( I am not a moderator - just my take of the guidelines ) and as long as it is re-written in a way that makes it unique on myLot, that's fine. However, if you just change a couple of words. . . that is still plagiarism.

myLot is the only writing site that I use, and I never had a blog. If one of my posts is plagiarized, I will not be guilty.

Those who copy know very well that it's not allowed, but they hope that nobody notices.

I have been on few sites but never repeat my posts. Writing here is only few sentences so why copy and paste from another - siva

Actually i just clarified this with the admin, it is not yet officially in the rules or guidelines that it can't be found anywhere else online. However, they did say it is discouraged.

Discouraged = a guideline that you should not do it ;)

I'm not active to any blogging site so I'm safe. Doing copy and paste here in mylot, I think, is totally unacceptable. Most of us here are thinking of topics/discussions that interest other people. We've come across a lot of research just to come up with a much better post. I don't think it's fair to just simply do copy and paste regardless if it was written originally but was posted with the author's other sites. Thanks for the information! This post is a great help to those who only copy and paste.
