I'm too scared to get comfortable right now!

It is 3:37am here. My dad and brother are asleep. But I am alone in my room. I was getting ready to watch Family Guy but got hooked on watching YouTube videos. First it was all about governments, conspiracies etc and from there went to Michael Jackson interviews lol And somehow I'm watching things like possessed dolls, mysterious recordings, ghosts, unexplained creatures, unexplained videos, exorcisms, aliens etc I already knew before hitting play that this stuff scares me and makes my heart rate go up a little but once I start to watch, my curiosity strikes and makes it hard to stop watching. I love researching the unknown. But it's also expected that I will start thinking that I will encounter something non human. I fear a clown is going to jump out of my wardrobe or a torso of a strange creature will start sliding it's way towards me or something invisible will drag me out of bed! My mind gets pretty creative and wild and HOLY CRAP while typing this my cat is climbing my window HAHA B*tch!!!!!!! At least....I hope it's her...I can't see behind the curtain.....please send help if I don't return back in 10 minutes! And tell them to bring a crucifix or garlic in case it's a vampire or something. I've been sitting here watching them and like usual, I look up to check nothing is standing there watching me or nothing is moving behind my curtains. I start to freeze a little. I'm all tensed up and ready to punch or run in case something flies at me! I'm too scared to get comfortable!

I know I can get caught up in that stuff - it's intriguing, isn't it? It's a good distraction anyway from real life stuff (it's somehow comforting when you know there is something scarier out there than what we we go through sometimes ). It's really bad when I have to turn on every light in the house just to get to the next room !

@much2say Actually it makes me more afraid of the world LOL Yeah I do that when I am scared lol Many years ago I was watching scary stuff on YouTube at night and we had a black out and I can't even describe how scared I was. I might have had a heart attack lol

@VivaLaDani13 When I was in high school, I was doing my homework at the dinner table after everyone went to sleep. I also had the tv on . . . and a commercial came on that on so and so date they were going to show "The Exorcist". I had never seen any of it - and at that moment I FROZE. I swear I could not move - gawd that was a billion years ago and I can still remember that moment!!!

@much2say oh man! Yeah apparently that movie scared the crap out of a lot of people. Apparently people were fainting when first seeing it in the movie theaters.

Hahaha! I can certainly relate to watching one youtube video and going to one thing and another from there. But!!! I make sure to only watch the potentially scary ones in full daylight. Hahaha. Me is a scaredy-cat.

@moirai That's cause you're smart haha! I should have waited for daylight to hit instead of in the darkness! But yeah YouTube can sure drag you into videos that were non related to what you first started watching haha

I get hooked on that stuff too, and would end up watching it all night! I love scary stuff. The scarier the better! But then I, too, am petrified and scared of every little sound or movement!

@VivaLaDani13 Why thank you! Ok, so as far as you know, I am totally fearless! Nothing scares or bothers me! I will protect you from evil clowns, ghosts and aliens! But I draw the line at cats climbing your window behind your curtains. That terrifies me! lol

@moffittjc lol I can't imagine you being scared of anything. I know we all get scared from time to time but the image in my head that I created of you assumed nothing ever bothered you. That's a compliment by the way.

BOO! Oh sorry. I just thought you needed a little help. I guess that isn't the type of help you're looking for. Maybe you better listen to some soft music on YouTube.

Just divert your thinking. It's all in the mind. It's the product of what you have watched. I am also a fan of suspense thriller movies. I found them interesting and exciting. And it also gives me goosebumps after watching.

@Daljinder lol yeah I know! If I don't finish them before Andrew leaves for work then I will save them too. I think I've only watched one game all the way through. Fran Bow was the very first game series I watched Daz play. I had just found out he did gaming and watched it and I was even more hooked on him. Ah...memories.... I will have to watch them of course. Like duh it's Daz lol

@VivaLaDani13 3 more I started the documentary on "illuminati" and put it away to watch later. Same with horror games of Daz. I am being a good little girl. You should follow the examples of people older than you If you start any long series Daz plays, you must watch "Uncharted 4" too. I have watched "Alien Isolation", "Outlast". "Life is strange", "Until Dawn", "Shadows 2", "Uncharted 4", "Rise of the Tomb Raider", "Witcher 3" up until now. I am looking for more to watch. I had marked them to watch later but now I can't locate them. I will have to search for them again from his oldest videos.
