Not long ago I mentioned that I had a story in an anthology. The book proceeds go to animal rescue. My story, The Garden Cat, is one of many stories in the book. Be Their Voice: An Anthology for Rescue is available in both digital and print. Yesterday, while waiting for my son to pick me up from work I heard some men yelling at a woman who was walking her dogs. One of them comes over to me and asks: "Is that a bobcat?" "I think those are poodles." I answered. "Hey guys, those are poodles!" He said to his friends. "Look like bobcats to me!" One yelled back. "Go tell her to go see if one bites her!" Apparently, they had never actually seen a bobcat.
