There is no illusion greater than fear.

One of Harry Potter and his friends' adventures was fighting a boggart- a shape-shifting non-being that takes on the form of the viewer's worst fear.
For their professor who is a werewolf, the boggart takes the form of the full moon.
For Ron (Harry's male bestfriend) who has an arachnophobia, the boggart takes the form of a big black hairy spider.
For studious Hermione (Harry's female bestfriend), the boggart takes the form of failed exams and low test scores.
For Mrs. Weasley who has seven kids fighting against the enemy, the boggart takes the form of her family members, lying on the ground, dead.
If you were to face a boggart, what form would it take?

a deep pool of mud would scare me off - when in Manchester I lived near a park called Boggart Hole Clough that was reputed to have a boggart lurking around

For me it's a snake , small or big venomous or not . It's my biggest fear .
And also riding that kind of ride you made in that picture is also one of my fears .
You are so courageous to have taken that ride , my friend . So how was it when it finally stopped ? Didn't you feel like vomiting or nauseous ?

We all have to face our fears some day. It's never easy to begin with.

My bogart would be a thousand snakes swimming around the row boat I'm in that has just sprung a leak.
PS I can certainly understand why you wouldn't want a second ride on that thing!

My greatest hopes and my greatest fears, look very similar to each other-the only difference is where I sit in relation to them. For me, I had to make peace with my fears long ago, I had to take my demons and baptize them so they were no longer demons in my mind.
Of course, a boggart must be very intelligent, and if one had dealt with their fears, I'm sure they would wish to play on other things...a person's desires, loved, or even their anger and hatred...which are again, often very close to one another.
But these too I had to deal with.
Right now I suppose, my greatest fear is, that I should strongly make an effort to sound not philosopher like;).
