It's a Chili Day

Today has been a true fall day. Cool to the point of needing a light jacket to wear to the pool early this morning and changing from sandals to shoes.
The topic at the pool this morning turned to chili and I thought that would be a great meal for today, so stopped at the market on the way home and got the necessary ingredients.
I'm on my second helping right now. It is oh so good and just perfect for this early fall day. I've made enough to last a few days. So I will definitely be enjoying some great chili.
What are you having on this early fall day? Does it feel like fall where you are?

Today got a little bit cooler and I was very grateful. You now have me thinking about chili so I may have to make some pretty soon! :-)

Chili is anot awesome meal on a fall day. I will have tour pick up the stuff and make a pot soon. The weather has really cooled off. There was frost last night and ice on the puddles this morning when I left for work.

I'm having a great night. My unpacking is done, I'm settled into my new apartment. I still have a few things to put away, but for the most part it's done and I'm so happy. Now I can get my life back to normal once again.

I'm not a fan of chili... but I'm glad you are enjoying yours... it wasn't cold in the uk today...but it was dull and grey so I made a Damson and plum sponge pudding with hot jam sauce and custard for dessert.

Makes me jealous because it's still humid and hot here. I want cooler weather. I do have the ingredients for chili and can't wait to make some. Glad that you enjoyed yours. We got a sandwich on the way home from shopping. Mike had chicken and I had a roast beef. Have a blessed day
