Heading To The Cottage in Pennsylvania Tomorrow

We have some chores that need doing down at our lake house. We need to turn the heat on for the winter. plug the pipe wraps back in and turn over hubs boat so it won't fill with water. We also need to paint the basement hatch and the back porch if we have time. I did the side porch last time.
We also have to mow the grass one last time since our man who mowed for us has moved to Florida. Wee will need to find someone new next year. On a positive note, he moved into the same resort as us in Florida and I think he may be willing to take care of our lawn down there.
We are bringing our grandson Brandon with us to help out. It will be a quick trip just one night but we will make the most of our time there.

It'll be good to get moving around and working in the outdoors a bit- Gorgeous photo- reminds me of my sister's cottage from several years ago!

They are, I love the physical house in Florida the most, I love the location of the cottage but the family is where home is so that is our primary home. They are all special for different reasons.

They just flip it over so that water cannot accumulate inside, it makes it too heavy to handle next spring. The paddle boat was already turned over last time we went down. It is fun and we love the place, it is a simple peaceful place.

oh, can i tag 'long?? i used to be handy with a paint brush/roller, lol. i'm glad that'cher grandson 's able to go with, no doubt his help 'll be most 'ppreciated. that'd be wonderful if'n that fella 'tis willin' to tend yer property down'n florida. hope ya find somebody local to tend the lake house.

We sure could have used your help we got the porch painted (Brandon did it) but not the hatch. I am happy with what we did. We did find someone new for our lawn care, it will cost more but I am happy

@BelleStarr right now the days are running 80's but the nights are getting down to the 50's. We are still in some nice weather, the nights are a little cool for my taste though

lol Well we are here and most everything has already been done, having a handy grandson along really speeds things up. I even had time to do some photography. Now I am going to make mac and cheese for dinner and all will be well.
