What do you do when you dreamt about your dead parent?

Last Saturday my sis told me that she dreamt about our late mother and that she would go to the cemetery to visit her grave. I told her I would go with her. We have planned to visit my mother's grave yesterday Monday but it rained so hard and the cemetery would be muddy. So we postpone it.
What do you do when you dreamt about your dead parent / parents? Do you go visit the cemetery? Do you pray for them in the church? I wonder what you do as we have different cultures and tradition here at Mylot.
BTW, do you happen to know the name of this flower in the photo above?

@thelme55 Once or twice I did, in the past. But the ones mentioned here are those in which my father was present.

I sometimes dream about my parents who've passed on .. I never thought of praying or longing to visit their graves .. but I thought it's nice that they visited me in my dreams ..

@thelme55 no worries, hon. he'd been through 'nough 'n t'was time fer him to go. his ashes 're scattered 't his favorite spots back'n the hills, a long ways from here.
i thought the flower looked similar. we've a pink'un 'round these parts. i'd share a pic with ya 'f such but fear the grasshoppers thought 'em most tasty 'n they failed to return. its called a siskiyou pink guara - the flowers look akin to yer galphimia glauca. i plead laziness to seein' if'n they're related, lol.
hope ya'd a great weekend, hon. i'm glad mine 'tis o'er :)

@thelme55 Have not gone home since we moved to Canada almost 25 years ago. . . I hope my late parents' spirits will not enter my body when we go home next year and visit their graves.

@thelme55 I think your mother needs more prayers for your intentions. I understand the poor souls in Purgatory need prayers just as we also need prayers from our dearly departed.

@ridingbet I already know the name thanks to @sofssu. It is called Galphimia Glauca and it's a healing plant use in homeopathic treatment.

there was a period l was having serious nightmares due to medication l was taking, one night l dreamt i was boiling soup in a very big pot (funny l should dream that, l dont like soup)
When l opened the pot to taste the hot soup for salt and spices,............ it was my dad`s head l was boiling, i even went ahead and tasted the soup in my dream.
What a nightmare, l hope i never dream about my dad any more.
I stopped the medication soon after, knew they will drive me crazy

Seeing deceased parents in a dream means they want to convey you something. Here in India we perform annual rituals for them.

Woow nice picture. Thank god my parents are still alive. But if you see them, you better arrange an almsgiving on behalf of their names.
