Oh yah, food trucks are very popular here. They were certain nights that the food trucks line up on certain streets and many people go eat there. I get a kick out of the names and designs of the food trucks - some are quite clever. And though we don't do it quite often, the food is tasty and mostly made to order.

When growing up, we had only the French Fries and Hot Dogs and Burgers truck. Now, they have everything, it's fun.

Food trucks are big in Oregon. There are over 500 of them in Portland and many have great food.

They are popping up more over here, although many retail parks and markets have had a burger van for many years. The Science Park near where I work has five or six who get together on a Thursday lunchtime, offering food much more enticing than the local sandwich shop!

Food trucks or roach coaches as we call them are very common in LA. 100s of them everywhere.

@amadeo They are called roach coaches because of uncleanliness and frequency of people getting sick from the food.
