Just a while ago I decided to take a look at the space titled "recent posts". I scrolled down and read titles and nothing got my attention

. I come to mylot mostly for the fun so I will not read and comment posts that mean nothing to me. So I decided to check first the "follows" discusions. Those filter all the posts and only leave those of the people I follow. There the whole thing changed!

There were several posts to read, many of them to comment and, best of all, my mood changed. Thank mylot friends! You are a good bunch! I was lucky to have picked you!

Is there a way to check only three discussions of the people you follow? If so I am not sure how to do it. I am still learning my way around.

@Happy2BeMe I always do that because I don´t have the time to check al my friends. But I do like to read at least a post written by those friends who comment mine.

I always go to follows tab first to check what my friends have been up to and to comment on their discussion first. When I'm done with them, I explore to the recent discussions.

I think i only follow a few more active ones. Seems that I seldom use the follow function. Maybe I should start to use the "follow" button too.

I used the follow function too much at the beginning of the old mylot. Now I almost never use it. I will have to clean up those antique friends before I do.

i usually go to 'most recent discussions' then 'most recent activity' to see who else is online. some members don't post new discussions as frequently as others.

I've been to many forums and blogging platforms, but myLot is perhaps the only site where people really do care for each other. That is probably the beauty of this platform.

What can I say? I think I have picked some really good people on Mylot to follow and looking through all the replies on this post I think I follow a few of the posters. Got to say as well that most of the people I follow have been kind enough to reply to my stuff. So thanks peeps I do appreciate it.

@marguicha One liners lol. My wife was asking me if I was writing a book. I don't think it's possible to tell a story in one line which is what most of the stuff I write is - stuff that happens from day to day. I think it's great that I can do this lying iin bed relaxing. No hurry so I can be expansive lol.
