Perspectives

Why are there people who like to force their idealogy into others? By now, most people should understand the fact that different people have different angles in looking at things. Different perspectives may arise when we are at different timeframe, different places or when we have different experiences. It doesn't mean that when you think you are right, the other person who thinks otherwise is definitely wrong. There are still many such people around me. I normally think that they are too rigid and not open minded enough to accept others' perspective. Have you met people like that? What would you do when you meet someone like that? Will you argue with them? I won't. I would normally just keep quiet and walk away... Image Credit: google images

Yes life has it's share of perspectives and that makes one think how life works differently for all of us.

If one is thinking then not that bad. Some people refuse to think. Just want to insist they are right.

perhaps it usually happens among those who are not well educated. i have never met it in mylot discussion so far. actually, we just perfer to share the different ideas from others rather than have an argument with them. try to be open and magnanimous. that is the best we should do.

Not true. A lot of my peers are "well educated". Most of them got their degrees or at least diplomas. i guess not so much because of education.

I just ignore these people. I don't need to consume with them.

Yes. Sometimes you get to see where both sides are coming from. And then suddenly one of them or worse both of them expect that you should stand on their respective side.

Yes, I have met plenty of them. There are those who can't separate fact from opinion or who don't even realise that there is another perspective. In fact, I work with exactly such a person. She only seems to see things from her angle. It can be difficult, and I won't argue with her as such. She seems to respect my opinion, though, so I think I'm helping her come out of her bubble! Some people will have a conversation, a rational debate even, in which opinions vary. Others will not.
