Ever since I joined Goodreads, quite a few years ago, I've been keeping lists of what I have been reading. It's been very enlightening -- I've never realized how encompassing my reading has been. So here are my entries for September -- a whopping twelve books. Conspirata by Robert Harris (fiction) The Wee Free Men by Terry Pratchett (fiction) The Day the World Ended by Gordon Thomas (non-fiction) The Stranger from the Sea (The Poldark Saga #8) by Winston Graham (fiction) Crimson Angel: A Benjamin January Historical Mystery Set in New Orleans and Haiti (Benjamin January #13) by Barbara Hambly (fiction) The Apprentice: My Life in the Kitchen by Jacques Pépin (non-fiction) Love and Madness: The Murder of Martha Ray, Mistress of the Fourth Earl of Sandwich by Martin Levy (non-fiction) Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? by Philip K. Dick (fiction) Life in the Victorian Kitchen: Culinary Secrets and Servants' Stories by Karen Foy (non-fiction) The Devil's Evidence (Thomas Fool #2) by Simon Kurt Unsworth (fiction) Epitaph by Mary Doria Russell (fiction) The Sunne in Splendour by Sharon Kay Penman (fiction) Has anyone else read these? Any suggestions as to what to read next? Let me know!

Have you read The House of Leaves by Mark Z Danielewski? It's my favorite.

Alas, it is not available on the Nook. I will hunt for a used edition.

I've been keeping track since grade 7... that's 41 years. I read a lot of books when I was taking a commuter bus or train to work, but now I'm lucky if I read 10 books in a year. Where do you find the time to do all that reading?

Congrats on reading 12 books. The most I can read is 4 or 5 books a month. Some book I've recently read are The Lie by C.L. Taylor, The Miracle Man by Buck Storm, Trucker Ghost Stories by Annie Wilder, Hannah's Story by Terra Kelly, and Haunted Inns of the Southeast.
