There was an old lady from Garden Grove Wjjo wishs she had ever drove But common sense came forth She had no car,not even a Porsche. She would need a big treasure trove. I really am feeling the pinch as my best ]friend has still got a bad eye so m y ride ]is no more. what I need to do is figure out how much a taxi would cost to go one lousy block. I bet it would not be more than I can afford lol. One original limerick and graphic by P Hatley copyrighted 2016

I would take you if I lived close enough. I hope it does not cost that much for a cab.

So sorry to hear about your friend not being able to drive. I wish your assisted living facility had transportation of some sort, or a low-cost public form of transportation for seniors.

they have a v an that takes six people once a month to walmart but only six I think a cab that shortdistance would not be expensive

@Hatley I think so too. I would not want to pay for a cab either. We do have Dial-A-Ride here for seniors and they charge $5 for to and from. I know I will probably utilize that service when I am no longer able to drive.
