Did you ever wish you could be an animal? If so, what kind?

I have always been told, since I was a little girl, that I was strange. I always wanted to be a bird.
I always thought birds were so great as they could go anywhere they wanted and see everything they wanted. I think it would be great to stand on a branch and spread my wings and go wherever I wanted to.
What would you like to be?

I have always been fascinated with dolphins and their life. If I was an animal it would be a dolphin. =)

I don't really want to be an animal! But, I wouldn't mind being able to fly or be as strong as a gorilla or swim like a dolphin.

@ramapo17 I tghink they can hold their breath for a long time and they always look as if they are smiling, so I don't think they are worried about drowning.

Wow @1hopefulman you covered everything. I would like to swim like a dolphin but I would be worried about drowning.

@1hopefulman You are right. They always make me smile. I saw them up close in Disney with my 6 year old grandson. We got to pet them and they put a smile on everyone's face.

Interesting question....never thought about it...I suppose I would love to be a lion or tiger. Such magestic animals. Or an elephant as they are loving animals, and remind me of my dear Pop Pop. Birds would be great too for the reasons you mentioned. Just never a snake as I am afraid of them, I wouldn't want to scare anyone. Have a blessed evening

I would want to be a dog or a cat. I think they have such great lives as long as they are in a loving home. I would love to just sleep, eat, and play all day. Not to mention get all the love and attention from everyone because who can resist cute dogs and cats.

While reading the title of the discussion, I was thinking that I would like to be a bird for its being able to fly to any places it desires to. It so happened that we choose the same: bird. The reason for that is similar. Being a bird, you could enjoy the freedom of the huge space, flying, settling anywhere you think is safe for you. If I were a bird, I do not want to be pet bird caged in the small cage, but a free and wild one, enjoying my desired life. LOL. Thank you for the nice discussion, my dear friend.
