What would you do without the TV..??? In my place TV is always on... Like 15-20 hours per day... We have never been without the television... Even if we watch it or not... Its working for us... I have no time to sit and watch, but while working I can hear it.... I love my TV...

I'm not sure where I'd be either without my TV. I like having it on. Even if I'm not watching it, I like having it for the background noise.

My TV is also on whenever I'm at home for many hours, but I don't necessarily watch it, sometimes I just use it to listen to what people say on talk shows while I surf the web or do some house choirs, but one thing is certain: even when I don't pay attention to it, my TV is working.

@amandajay One person I know lives alone by himself, but the other is a family with 3 children - it amazes me how they choose not to have TV in their house even if they'd be able to afford one if they want to...

It would drive me crazy to live in a house with a constantly blaring TV. I can live well without it. In the rare cases, I want to watch a film, I do this on the computer.

Lol!~ Poor thing...I pity your overworked TV, lol!~Truth be told......we don't have TV in our house....yes at this time and age......'cause we don't see the need for it? Lol!~In fact we've had a few LCD TVs passed through our hands and we sold them all off, lol again!~We don't find the need for it actually, no time to watch at all...nowadays with the internet, we can just do streaming

@amandajay Well, since the internet is a necessity and already we have the PCs, smartphones, etc....yeah....so it's convenient. Wouldn't want to pay extra subscription for any tv channels which we won't be watching

When I was a kid, I do love to watch TV too. But as I grow up, I have been busy and my interest in TV diminished little by little. I can live a day without TV. As long as I have a book or a laptop with internet connection, I will not get bored.

Past was the time without TV. It was more based on interaction with humans. If anyone wanted to have some time pass, still, interaction or planning up something with people around would work. We go to our native place.. There was no TV around 4-5 years back. Now, someone fixed a TV. But then was the time everyone just used to do chittar pittar(chatting)

When I was in elementary and high school, I thought I would never live if I was without the TV. I went to university, and there were just so many things that I can do and needed to do. I completely forgot about having a TV. I realized then that it was more of comfort that I "needed" the TV. Now-a-days, I can live without a TV. But not without internet! Hahahha. Maybe it's again just the comfort of knowing that I have internet. But I guess, I don't want to find out anymore.
