This past weekend was my best friends wedding. It was gorgeous and fun - despite me being ill for it. My friend and her husband wrote their own vows and had nice quotes read as well during the ceremony. Oh and beautiful first dances with their parents! Yet I did not cry even as the other bridesmaids were balling. Ha. Do you cry at weddings?

Only when I realize what a serious mistake the couple is making

@miniam I told her exactly how I felt about everything.I made it clear that she does not deserve to be with anyone treating her like that.

I usually will tear up at weddings, there are just so many memories that surface while you listen to them say their vows, and they are all good memories.

It depends on the couple and how close I am to them.

I never tried to cry in attending a wedding. However, I had seen some biological parents do cry during wedding day.

When you're sure that nothing can break or affect the bond between you and the other, cry doesn't follow. I had my sister's wedding once... Neh! Didn't cry at all...

In my country in some places it is a tradiitonal for the bridegrooms to cry before they leave their homes in the wedding day. But in my city we don't have this custom. I didn't cry at wedding. I was excited and happy to it.

Yep. Yep. YEP I do not care even if I barely know the people, I cry. I have no idea why I just sob, but I do. I try so hard not to, but I love people being happy and also seeing other people cry makes me cry.

I have cried at a wedding because it makes me think about my own wedding and it gets me emotional. =)

I do. Even weddings on TV make me cry. I cried as a bridesmaid too, every time.

I have never cried at a wedding so far. I might at my sister's wedding if she ever has one and maybe at my own but other than that I don't see myself crying at anyone else's wedding.

No, I've never had the urge to cry at weddings, though I understand when some people do.
