Darkness spells death
In the eyes of Gloom.
Gloom is a terror
That strikes at night.
Gloom is fear.
Gloom is loneliness.
You cannot escape Gloom
Once it possesses you.
It burrows deep into your soul
Until your life evaporates around you.
Gloom is cautious.
It chooses its victims carefully.
Don't succumb to Gloom.
Once it gets hold of your heart.
Death follows close by.
Spread the word.
End the frightening fear of
Gloom.

Not all my poems are humorous. I like to expand beyond that area.

If one keeps the lamp of faith burning, gloom will not overpower him.
