Sometimes I see discussions with no answer and sometimes I also get no answers for certain discussions. Sometimes I wonder what can be done to get responses to discussions with no answers. Do you get zero answers to discussion? What can be done to avoid zero responses to discussions when one write a discussion?

@marlina Most people do respond to discussions they are interested in.

Everyone has different tastes, so it is hard to predict what will interest a reader.

I try to post responses to such discussions and I am often the first to do so (like I am with this one) but there are some I cannot or will not respond to. Some are too political, some are very specialised about sport, films or music only known in one country, some are one line discussions which will soon get taken down by Admin and some I just do not understand. Avoid posting any of these types of discussions and you will stand more chance of getting a response - at least from me!

@marlina Some more advice on no response discussions here in this interesting post from last year from MyLotBugs:
Hey myLotters! As a lot of you know, I'm the bug guy. I'm definitely an introvert and don't post much. I like reading what others post and chime in when...

The more we interact with other members, the more exposure we receive, and they in turn will check our discussions thus lessen the chance of them getting zero response...
