Need a New Fridge Freezer

Well, this is annoying. I'd been concerned that the seal was failing on my fridge freezer for a couple of weeks, although it was still working. I contacted the person who had fixed it last time, and he said that you couldn't even get the parts any longer (it's the best part of 20 years old, and I got the impression that the make no longer exists). So I'd decided to start looking around for a new one. This morning, I went to the freezer to find the seal had totally failed, defrosting everything inside. Which all needs throwing away. So I've lost all my frozen food and need to buy a new fridge freezer quickly, because otherwise I'll end up throwing away a lot of fresh food when I buy it. Either that or eat takeaways. Unfortunately, no manufacturer seems to believe that you'll need a bigger freezer compartment than a fridge, which is making it hard to find a replacement. Back when I bought this one, it was the only model in the shop with a larger freezer. The freezer is where I store the majority of my food; I don't need huge amounts of fridge space, yet it seems I have no option. Image: Morguefile
