Features I Would Like To See In MyLot

This is my comeback discussion 
As a member of myLot for 11 months now, I came across of several ideas on features that might be a good addition to this site 
Community Section (Based on nationality): Old members here are pretty much aware that most of the members here in myLot are composed of Filipinos (like me) and Indians. It's a good idea to have a one common place for every members with same nationality so that they can also check out those members that they have interacted before or want to be friends and be close with and many other benefits also. It's like villages within a myLot city 
Customizable Notifications: I once posted a discussion about missing notifications of mine. Only then I knew that after 7 days, my notifications will reset. I think it's not an ugly idea to have an option on how much should notifications be in our account before they reset....like minimum of 7 days and maximum of 1 month
Refined Search Feature: Search feature already exist here in myLot. But one thing i want to see for a change is that the capability for us to only type a search keyword ONCE and there will be buttons for those filtered search. I find it tiring to search for some words in a search filter for 'Full Text Discussion' and do it again in 'Full Text Response'. Though we have copy-paste, but it still lot better if it's one-click away. It's also a good filter addition to have a search filter for 'My Discussions', 'My Comments' and 'My Responses'
I don't know if you all will agree to me but these are just my opinion

There's a reason why mylot made like a format like this, so that people from all over the world can interact much closer. Rather than segregate them again from different forum or interest that made people separate from each other. I guess what you want "was" here but they changed it because those who are few in their country being active here gets left out..No, I don't agree, it's actually shivers to my spine the idea of people getting segregated by country once more just like in the old mylot. But if your serious with it, you can tell the admin.

It is not really segragation, there are discussions that looks awkward when it gets replies from people who have no idea what they were talking about.

see that is a problem with having us segregated to nationalities . as already some tend to just help out and respond only to their preferred . not right in my opinion since we all must post english here anyway. there is already a way to find all discussions you do and all your responses.

Yes to insert image links at least instead of uploading and at least one embedded youtube video on bitLanders we have 3 options on how to add images UPLOAD, LIBRARY (previously uploaded in gallery) and WEB (we paste image link just like embedded youtube video).

Well notifications i go through twice a day...so i don't have a problem with that...
I rarely search anything...after going through notifications i just go to most recent discussions and move on from there..
and i think i an already friends with most Indians here. ...at least the active members. So i don't really need a mylot village specifically for us.
Things are more unified like this...why make borders in the digital world?

When we still have categories, I was able to make Filipino centric discussions and have lots of replies.

that's what i thought of also! you can attract more replies if they can relate to you or they have the same nationality with you.
i want to post discussions about Filipino stuffs but i think it's already been posted by so many Filipinos here in mylot community.

for notifications, you can set yours so that you also receive them by email so you can have copies of them when you're inactive. maybe use an inactive personal email account and put that in your account setting. there is a separate field for the paypal email anyway.

i find it tiring and redundant in checking emails just to see notifications
