I mylot a while and the I check on a page I have open at my laptop. I cannot understand well, because I don´t know how things work there. But sometimes I think that Trump is winning and some other times I find that Hillary Clinton is first. Those of you who are americans, Can you explain to me what exactly is happening? Or should I wait a few more hours to know the real results?

They need 270 electoral votes to win the presidency. Whichever one gets that will win.

It seems to me that not all the States have the same amount of electoral votes. Is that because of their size?

Wikipedia: Citizens of the United States do not directly elect the president or the vice president; instead they choose "electors", who usually pledge to vote for particular candidates. Wow, that's weird enough for an outsider. Why is Florida without electoral votes (I don't see any) although 93.8% is being reported and Texas already has all its electoral votes done while only 6.5% is being reported? That's even weirder. Is it because there's a 50/50 in the popular votes in Florida?

It's going to be several hours yet at least. California still hasn't reported anything yet. I'm going to bed though. We'll see how bad the train wreak is in the morning.

Like you, I keep checking....each time Trump is leading......they really should have given the other two candidates a consideration.

@marguicha I didn't take a bath! I've to go to the office. Plus here the government has suddenly decided to take certain denimination of notes out of circulation. So the combined effect is really delirious! I feel really confused and excited!
