Adolescence- Age of Rebel ( The parents POV )

India

Teenagers. The best possible word to describe them is 'Defiant'. The whole world becomes anathema to them. Their current parlance is to vituperate at full volume. Anything you do or say to them will bounce back in a negative manner irrespective of whether it's for their own betterment or not. Most often they are found either glued to electronic gadgets or in a sopor. The more pieces you try to fix the more they fall apart. The adrenaline rush, the unnecessary need to do crazy, wild stuff is present in every single teenager whether girl or boy. What they don\'t realise is that there is a real game to face in the world apart from the virtual world. Children of today are citizens of tomorrow. Whether they will destroy their future or create one will remain a mystery...

Hear that ALOT. I'm a teen myself. Don't think we are always a rebel. Are we?

@Anushetty Teens are not always a rebel. I think it is like a child having a tantrum and for teens it is being a rebel. Maybe they just need attention from their parents and want to fit in or understood.

We have been there too and as adults now we are in better position to understand our teenagers who are torn between being adults-kids to kids-adults. They rebel to be recognized as adults when they are still at their raw age of teens and still very much under the watchful eyes of their guardians. Bringing up children in the age group of 12 - 18 years old can easily shoot up our blood pressure.

I think if is their age that completely defines their attitude and actions ...constant counseling and love shall turn them into sensible citizens when time comes
