do you like newspaper cartoons?
i like some
But sometimes i couldn't understand some cartoons.
Some of those that i read often are Cornered, Rubes, Garfield, BC, Calvin & Hobbes etc.
I can easily understand MOM and Calvin & Hobbes often but others are not easy.
are these comics or cartoons.
what is the correct word?

I think of them as comic strips - I love Calvin & Hobbes, Far Side & Dilbert especially

@kevinakash yes, Far Side cartoons are single panel images - Dilbert strips are a very clever satire on modern office life - often funny yet painfully true as well

Either is correct, but most of those are comic strips, as found in newspapers so comics would be the more correct term.
