So, I was just picking up a few last minute items for Thanksgiving at the grocery store. The pies were on sale in fact reduced almost half price so I bought one..of course it rang up wrong at the register..I always eyeball my receipt when I go to the store...and picked up the error..naturally all the store personnel ran around in a flurry checking and trying to get it corrected..Anyway...I got my two bucks back. Do you check your receipts at the store? If you don't, you should probably start.

We often do but not always. I like the bit down the bottom that says how much we saved on that trip.

This happens to frequently, and yes I check my receipts and try to keep an eye on the prices as they are ringing up. The cashiers always act irritated, holding up the line. Happened to me on a plant I bought a couple weeks ago, the sign said $19.99 and it rang up $24.99. My husband of course points out on the way out of the store the sticker says $24.99, yeah well the sign said that the fern trees were $19.99 and that's why I picked one up. I'm not paying $24.99 for it. The lady gave me the $5 off, had she not, I wouldn't have purchased it.

Right I will not purchase if the register price is more.
