Where are you?

I have no idea where my voice is this morning. Each time I try to talk, just little shrieks come out. My throat isn't sore, it isn't dry because I have been drinking tea, voice where did you go! I miss you! I am sure as it warms up my voice will come back but for now I shall be silent..... That's gonna be hard. I talk to myself too much.

I think this is a punishment from your voice as you use it too much on yourself....

It happens all the often. I sometimes talk in different voices when my normal voice sounds terrible haha

There's something going around that's been causing that. My poor 6-year-old hasn't had her voice since last Tuesday... it's finally starting to come back in the last couple of days.

I don't have laryngitis since I can still make noises. That is terrible that she has been going through that. I had a throat infection when I was a kid once that made me lose my voice for a few weeks. As a child..that is no fun.

At least you don't have to speak out loud when online.

Maybe you are dehydrated. Some nice hot tea with honey will do the trick. I always seem to have phlegm which makes me cough first thing. I have gotten in the habit of drinking a Dr. Pepper first thing and that seems to cut it.
