Last Full Week

I am still a bit in disbelief that this is my last week at work in Vancouver. I will still go back to do some random shifts in December but that's it. I am a bit depressed about it but have to be firm with myself... I know that this commute is really bad for my anxiety and overall health. I hate saying goodbye to people. I am really bad at it and find it extremely awkward. Not looking forward to that part. Have you ever had a hard time saying goodbye? The pic above is of me this morning. The girls at work insisted I wear my hair in something other than a bun. LoL. (Picture belongs to MissNikki)

You have beautiful hair! I always struggle with good bye too. I am not very good at it. Hope you will be happy at the new store.

@MissNikki It sure can be hard leaving a place that you've been to often and have got used to. And it's ok to miss something. What is important though, is that you're happy and comfortable with the new place and I wish you the very best with it! LOVE your hair by the way! I didn't know it was so friggen long!

LoL @VivaLaDani13 thank you - I have not had a proper hair cut in many years! I can't bring myself to cut it . Yes, I am happy at the new store! @Daljinder I ended up not even being able to get to work on my last day due to bad snow storm - so I avoided it too! LoL

For the same reason, I skip goodbyes altogether...... unless I am forced or ambushed.

I have leave a few job as well. Your health and well being is number one. It's always hard to leave great coworkers behind. They ones that no get to talk about. Because of the people keeping the drama going.

The most amazing part about a goodbye is that people meet again and live in the hope of that....It is said that to build a bond stronger that steel it is important to fall apart just like a cold winter afternoon''s warm breeze.... You will cherish these memories forever.... and who said you are bad at goodbyes.... you are good at the goodbye thing because you know the importance of the other person...Acknowledgement is an amazing virtue....Also you have beautiful hair....
