So I woke up to my son crying at 4am so I gave him cough medicine and covered him up and even kept him home from school today but he will be going back to school tomorrow. I just found my Rainbow Coolmist Humidifier for him and now I have it going. He is a bit happier now. I have the humidifier in the living room since his room is a little disorganized at the moment. My humidifier also does diffuser scents, too, which is cool but for now going to just stick with the water remedy to help his cough. Hopefully he gets better soon. He can't keep skipping school like he used to lol. Prayers his cough gets better!

poor little thing. This time of year is terrible for kids, especially when they have to go to school and they only have so many sick days. I hope that humidifier helps! I know I lived off humidifiers as a child. I smelled more like Vicks than any kind of soap I had haha!

Hope your sons cough gets better soon. Does his throat hurt as well or just a cough? Some have said to give a tsp. of honey for a cough suppose to help.

@carebear29 Yep gotta keep him hydrated. Hopefully the fluids and cough medicine will help him feel better soon.

He hasn't complained about his throat which is good but drinking lots of fluids. Also giving him cough medicine
