The spider that got away... while wrapping Christmas presents

Last night, I wrapped a couple of Christmas presents and saw a spider! I grabbed some tape so I can kill the spider, but I missed, argh!
On the bright side, I finished wrapping some presents for my niece and nephew so my parents' can put them under their Christmas tree. I have more to wrap but maybe on a different day.

The spider got loose so the spider is safe. 
I am not a fan of spiders. Do you bring them outside if you catch them in your home?

@infatuatedbby As long as there are only a few I do not mind because they control other insects that fly in during the summer.

We aren't going to wrap presents. What we do is give my grandson a gift every so many days while he is home for Christmas break. That way he has something to keep him busy all through out the days he is home.

I see. These are for my niece/nephew so it'd be fun for them to open. But I am not much a fan of wrapping in general either. For adults - I put the in Christmas bags.

How weird, Michelle... I didn't hear you scream or anything!
Nope! I don't wrap gifts! I leave them in the shopping bag from the store I purchased them at and give them to the recipient just like that. (Hey, it's a gift! If it has to be wrapped to be acceptable, then that person can just give it back and I'll give it to someone who doesn't care if I wrap it or not!

I love seeing wrapped gifts. Makes me happy inside because it is so festive looking. I would not be able to keep wrapping knowing the spider is still on the loose.

I already had finished the finishing touches and saw the spider. It crawled into the closet and I was unable to find it. It is starting to feel like Christmas now I done some wrapping.
