What is Christmas if it is not giving, sharing, making someone happy, doing something especially for those who are sidelined, rejected by the society! Every year taking part in a Holy Mass for the lepers gives my Christmas meaning. This Mass is celebrated on 24 December evening at Missionaries of Charity Center. The children of our orphanage also attend it. I prepare the choir. The M.C. Brothers distribute a cup of tea and a piece of cake for all. The happy evening ends with some rounds of dance by young boys and girls.

After celebrating with family and friends for years I no longer get any satisfaction and so instead we have been throwing parties for poor kids since the last few years at different locations including even a beach resort.

It is indeed a good deed. Our team will have to give food for the street children in our city. Hopefully we can do more possible things this year.

This is a lovely idea. Do lepers attend? I don't know much about leprosy. It used to be highly contagious.

Yes, they do. Most of them are cured. However, I get some twisted or half fingers when I shake their hands to wish a "Happy Christmas."

@franxav I was thinking there wouldn't want to be a risk of contracting the disease.
