XII VII MMXVI : Dinner Night Out!

United States
December 8, 2016 1:46am CST
We usually order to go or pick something up from the market, but today we decided to dine in like old times. For our starters/appetizer - we had soup. The chicken tortilla is my favorite and my boyfriend had clam chowder. For our entree, I had the rib eye steak with fries and he had the full rack of ribs and asparagus. We shared each others sides and obviously we didn't finish our food since the portion was so large! The remaining food will be his lunch tomorrow with rice. I was a little annoyed during dinner service though. I was asked if I wanted 'ketchup', I said yes and the waiter was too busy assisting an older lady who wanted to sample beers, she forgot my ketchup. I had to remind her and by the time she got my ketchup out - the fries were cold and we asked for our check to go home. The waiter was still 'helping' the older lady with beer choices. The lady didn't even order any food just asked for samples! - Anyway - Before dinner, we ran a bunch of errands/grocery shop and I got a lot more Christmas shopping done. I just finished wrapping some more gifts to bring to my sister's place tomorrow and I'm excited to visit my niece and nephew. I hope you all had a wonderful day. I even made a small sale on Mercari, overall it was a busy and nice day! I wasn't in the mood to myLot much today, maybe tomorrow! Time for me to say Good night to myLot!

That steak looks delicious! Couple that with the asparagus and the soup, and it would have made one very nice meal!

@infatuatedbby I love asparagus! It pairs well with steak, and also with fish (salmon).

Looks like you had a good day today. The pictures seem alluring too. I now feel like going out for a lunch with a friend. I have only a few freinds in the city I am in now. But let me check with one of them and see if he/she can join me for a brunch or lunch

Do you always just eat out ? Don't you cook foods for the two of you instead ?
• United States

@infatuatedbby Well, i think it is cheaper that way , because there's only the two of you . But i hope you choose healthy foods .
