XII VII MMXVI : Dinner Night Out!

United States
December 8, 2016 1:46am CST
We usually order to go or pick something up from the market, but today we decided to dine in like old times. For our starters/appetizer - we had soup. The chicken tortilla is my favorite and my boyfriend had clam chowder. For our entree, I had the rib eye steak with fries and he had the full rack of ribs and asparagus. We shared each others sides and obviously we didn't finish our food since the portion was so large! The remaining food will be his lunch tomorrow with rice. I was a little annoyed during dinner service though. I was asked if I wanted 'ketchup', I said yes and the waiter was too busy assisting an older lady who wanted to sample beers, she forgot my ketchup. I had to remind her and by the time she got my ketchup out - the fries were cold and we asked for our check to go home. The waiter was still 'helping' the older lady with beer choices. The lady didn't even order any food just asked for samples! - Anyway - Before dinner, we ran a bunch of errands/grocery shop and I got a lot more Christmas shopping done. I just finished wrapping some more gifts to bring to my sister's place tomorrow and I'm excited to visit my niece and nephew. I hope you all had a wonderful day. I even made a small sale on Mercari, overall it was a busy and nice day! I wasn't in the mood to myLot much today, maybe tomorrow! Time for me to say Good night to myLot!

That steak looks delicious! Couple that with the asparagus and the soup, and it would have made one very nice meal!

@infatuatedbby I love asparagus! It pairs well with steak, and also with fish (salmon).

Wow, seems like you and your boyfriend had a delicious dinner! Very nice! Way to go on getting some errands out of the way and the sale, too! When does Poshmark and Mercari pay their sellers?

Thanks! Poshmark pays when the seller accepts they've received their item. If not, 3 days money will be released then you can cash out to your bank which takes 1-3 days depending. For Mercari , you wait until seller rates you. If they don't, in about 3 days you contact Mercari and they'll release funds. Then, you have to cash out by, Sunday to get paid Monday or else you have to wait another week.

@infatuatedbby Your welcome! Do you mean the buyer? Wow, very nice! Wow, really? So, you have to cash out or you have to wait another week? That is interesting.

28 Dec 16
@zarlamain Oh yes buyer sorry. With Mercari its weekly by Sunday if you don't cash out for Monday to receive funds by Tuesday - you have to wait another week!

Looks like you had a good day today. The pictures seem alluring too. I now feel like going out for a lunch with a friend. I have only a few freinds in the city I am in now. But let me check with one of them and see if he/she can join me for a brunch or lunch

That dining out was almost ruined by that old lady. We should know when others need to be served too. You had a nice day though

@stbrians Yes - the older lady was rude. She kept talking to the waitress for a long time. The waitress should have kindly dismissed herself and service the tables she's working for!!
