The Kitten Has Surgery Tomorrow

We're taking Echo to get neutered tomorrow morning, not a moment too soon (he's becoming very aggressive with our other cat).
It's apparently just day surgery now, he doesn't need to stay overnight and we can pick him up tomorrow afternoon. That part is good. The bad news is we're not allowed to feed him after 6 p.m. today. He's not going to like that. That kitten is a walking, meowing, stomach and constantly wants to eat. He's going to be miserable tomorrow morning because he'll be starving.

Good luck to your kitty! Our cat has to have minor surgery/tooth cleaning every few years under anesthesia, always hard to see them have to go through that.

He actually came out of it pretty well. We brought him home the next day (they ended up keeping him overnight after all, my wife was just given the wrong information originally) and he was very playful. It's laser surgery now so he must not have had as much pain as we thought he would.

Well, I wish the kitten luck! I got my cat neutered through a free program they have here. I don't think he enjoyed the experience..but he has no memory of it now!
