Can't afford a tablet this month

As some of you might know from reading my past discussions, my tablet was smashed beyond repair and I was planning on buying a new one. I wanted to have it fixed or see what Microsoft service advices, but that was a dead end. Now that I spent more money on other things, my plan to buy a new tablet was ruined for at least another month. But its not that I am left with no alternative. I will start using my wife's Macbook (which she never uses anyway). The reason why this was not plan A is because I dont like the IOS operating system and I prefer a screen touch device.
