Ice Ice Baby

Happy Saturday!
This morning we are greeted with about an inch of snow which is now covered in a sheet of ice. It's sleeting and I can hear it hitting the windows. Ugh.
Although it's probably treacherous to walk or drive in this I have to say it does come with it's own sense of beauty. If the sun was shining the ice would probably be shimmering.
I made all my cookies yesterday and they are all ready to take to the party but with the weather being what it is I don't know if the party will be cancelled. You know I'm petrified to walk in weather like this so I'm hoping it all turns to rain and washes away the ice. Guess the next few hours will tell.
If the party is cancelled I have plenty to do here at home so although I will be disappointed it won't be a huge disappointment.
Right now I'm going to enjoy my coffee and myLot for awhile.

We had 6 inches of snow today and now it is getting warmer by the minute. We are supposed to get into the 50s tomorrow so most f it should melt. We have our family party tomorrow.

Well, I hope it all melts before you have to head out the door but if not hopefully the party will be rescheduled.

I took a nap this afternoon and was very surprised when I woke up to see lots of sunshine! The day that began with quite a snowstorm ended up really gorgeous! So I know that nothing around here got canceled. I hope you were able to go to the party!

I hope it's not cancelled. The weather people got us all excited about freezing rain yesterday, and it has fizzled into nothing!

Ice is a bad bad thing , especially on top of snow. I wouldn't walk or drive in that weather.

I saw the weather report on the weather channel last night and you're also in for some rain as the front moves through your area. So it should melt away that ice.
I'm looking at a beautiful snowfall out my window.

So far we haven't received any sleet or freezing rain. Still calling for rain later today and tomorrow but not freezing, which is good. Hope yours melts away so you can go to your party. Have a blessed day

We have lots of ice here too, took my son a while to scrape it all off his car for work. The main road is clear but I heard we are going to get more sleet today.
