~Not Counting On Anything Anymore~

Hey everyone. I'm not mad or anything, just a little disappointed. We were all so looking forward to that free game tonight but we are not going. =( My husband has to finish this job by tomorrow and he will be getting home late...So, it is what it is. Everyone here is on the disappointed side of things. Our life has been a little disappointing lately and I feel the worst for our kids. Anyway, we know things could always be worse so we are grateful for what we do have. I told the kids to be grateful we aren't in a hospital right now like their cousin is. =( Things could always be worse... I hope your all having a good day.

It's always so sad when children are disappointed. Maybe you two could plan something as a surprise for the kids one night. I'm sure they would love that!

@CRK109 Yeah I hate when their little hearts are saddened. =( I told my husband sometime soon we need to do something fun with them-since we have had nothing but disappointing times lately.

Oh, that is a disappointment. But its good that he's working so much, and I know that you know that. Its a good reminder about your niece being so sick right now for your own kids.

It is disappointing but he is showing true responsibility, a life lesson you cannot buy, and that is not free either. I hope you can find something fun to do.

I have too many disappointments this month thinking we were going to go on family outings then plans fall through. I'm guessing there is a reason why you didn't go wiith the children and leave your hubby to get his work done.

@LovingMyBabies aahhh if you don't drive then I guess that's a good reason to not go without him! 2 of my daughters don't drive and who knows if they ever will.

@marsha32 I absolutely know the feeling. =( I don't drive, never have-it's been a fear of mine since I was a child.

@Happy2beme Thanks. I hope things change for the better soon as well, I keep praying and trying to have faith. They transferred her to another hospital to run more tests, that's all that is new right now.

Sorry for the disappointment. This is a part of life though and something we have to take as best we can. I think that his work is number one priority. I hope something comes up soon that will make up for this disappointment.

@LovingMyBabies .....I think that is so right. But, a little money does help in this world. LOL Without it life can be a lot tougher than it has to be.

@celticeagle Thanks. Life just isn't fun at times... Work is important but not the most important to us. Family and love come before money.

@Tampa_girl7 Sorry you didn't have much fun either. But be grateful you have a washing machine and dryer-we have to wash our clothes either in the bath tub, then hang them to dry or when we have money & time go to the laundromat.
