@Emilyteamo182 What a lovely and interesting comment but you misunderstood me. Copy and paste all of your comment into a discussion of your own and put it up for everyone to see. I'm sure there will be a lot of people interested in what you are doing studywise etc. If we know a little bit about you, it is easier for us to chat with you, perhaps ask a few questions or whatever.

I'm sorry for the delay in answering the comments, I did not even know I could do it hahahah so, my name is Nathália, I'm 19 years old and I was born and raised in Porto Alegre, Brazil. I live in an apartment with my mother, Sandra, and my two shih-tzus Francisco and Pantufa. I have 5 half-brothers (yes, my family tree is super complicated) and they all suffer from some personality disorder (or they are gay, or both hahahah). My parents have been separated for 3 years now, and my mother and I had to learn to live together without a fight. I attended a semester of law school (PUC-RS) but realized that it was not for me. I have Borderline Personality Disorder, so I had serious problems during my teenage years. Because of this, to understand myself better, to understand my brothers better, and to be able to help other people suffering from the same disorder, I decided to study psychology. I just fell in love! I attended a year and a half psychology here in Porto Alegre at FADERGS, and I am currently in the process of moving to Portugal to study at the University of Algarve. I'm going with my boyfriend (who dropped out of T.I.'s college and is going to psychology too!) And with my mother. We hope to be there in late February / early March.

It is very simple. Make posts that are worth while of making a discussion with. Talk about what you had for lunch, how was work or school or how your time was at the market, perhaps you want to talk about your favorite movies, books, music, jewlery, memories. You can talk about anything that you want.
Secondly, the most important thing you can do is interact with people. Go on other's posts, like, comment, engage in a conversation from their post. If you don't find a post is interesting, move on and go on to the next. Interaction is key to success on here. You will not earn big bucks but if you interact, make fun posts and remember to just have fun, you will do great on here.
look at other's posts for inspiration and you will pick it up in no time.

Thank you very much for the tips, Felicia, I'm getting acquainted with the structure of the site. I found several very interesting posts here, and I'm even having ideas for posts! Maybe I'll make others show what life is like here in Porto Alegre hehehe

In simple words...when you post something here and someone interacts with it...like i am doing with this comment...you earn a little bit.
But just so people like talking to you...you need to take time out to reply to the comments made on your posts and read and comment on their discussions too...so people get to know you as a fellow mylotter who is active and interacts.

Thank you for explaining how it works! I could not believe they could pay me for doing something so cool! I'm discovering new posts and interacting with people. Gradually I will end up discovering the other features of the site. But if any questions arise, I'm glad I can count on you to answer them. Thanks for the welcome, Manisha! Looks like you got it -- I like to start new Discussion for each different topic, then reply to the people who comment on mine. When you follow people it shows up under the "Follows" tab on the top so you can read your My Lot friend's posts easily.... -- of course -- that's just how I do it, I'm sure each MyLotter has a little different style ... welcome!
