Tuesday is Lab's day

This morning was Labs for my daughter. She is 12 years old and just 1 year post Kidney Transplant, after 8 years on Dialysis,She is pretty complicated. This morning when we got there we were the only patients in the day hospital. A good time to catch up and chat with the nurses. This morning was special they gave Angel a Gingerbread house to put together. We just got home, opened up to find out the company who makes them puts them together. Oh well we thought would be a fun project but will look pretty on the counter anyway. Hoping for good results, they tacked on some extras the past few weeks, as she has been battling bone pain, and still quite tender in the area where she just had her native kidney removed, it became infected and well that is for another story. Hoping her kidney function is stable as it has been, and hoping for no new viruses, there is a whole slew of them that like to attack transplanted kidney's. You would be amazed at how many things there is to learn. Well here's to hoping for all good stuff, and later today we have another appointment with GI(stomach) doc so hoping to get some help from them also.
