I wanted to find out what the oldest Windows OS was still being employed by users on planet Earth so I did another Google search to find out: Here is an article I am sure you will enjoy from PC World online:
From 1970s minicomputers used for military programs (including nuclear weapons) to an IBM punch-card system still keeping the books at a Texas filter supplier, these are the computers that time forgot.

@lookatdesktop In my opinion it is the best system released by Microsoft, it was much better than Windows 10, your privacy more protected and the system more stable.

@LadyDuck , Funny that occurred to me just now, after reading your comment, which I appreciate by the way, I was told by my Norton Security program that I needed to remove Malwarebytes from my system but then I was also told that more than one internet security application is better because no one single security software insures absolute security. lol so I deleted that app and kind of wonder what Norton Security would say if I loaded a version of McAfee to see if Norton approves it or not.

Didn't the entire space shuttle fleet use the old TRS-80 computers (which users affectionately called "Trash-80s"), relics from the early 1980s? I remember reading an article one time that NASA engineers had to resort to buying Trash-80 parts off of eBay because they were no longer in production!

I will take your word for it. Sounds likely very true.

Windows 7 is on my older machine and my husband uses Windows Vista. My daughter uses Windows 8.1. My husband's lap let uses Windows 10 coverts into a tablet. My new computer, which I'm using now uses Windows 10 and I'm not a fan.

Maybe Windows 10 will get some more upgrades or updates and eventually get it working in a way that makes people really happy about using it instead of fearing or dreading using it. lol

This is an old computer and it is likely an antique. In fact in my office and my dad's computers, they all run Windows XP. We can still do the work with this old operating system. In fact it is still a good operating system in my opinion.

@lookatdesktop In fact Windows XP doesn't have the official update today any more.

If only I could buy a small computer and run Windows xp in it just so I could use the older applications that no longer work with my new computer running windows 10. And why I do not want to put Windows xp in my Windows 10 system is simple, not enough space to waste.

I don't know, but I bet there are people using very old systems out there. I remember the first computer I had ran DOS, and it seems like a dinosaur relic now.

That's interesting. I still have a pc with Windows ME on it, but that's not that old compared to what you're talking about.

I remember the old style computers. When I first got one where we put it is where it stayed, lol. Those things were a pain to move.
