Connecting the Evil Dots of All the STAR TREK Series

It seems to me that it would be good for 'all the bad guys in the STAR TREK series(es) to come from- or spring from- or work for-one ultimate bad guy of the whole franchise
At the link, I list many of the 'bad guys' (they're not "all bad," but they are all connected to the theme of (I guess) 'evil fruit of the search for perfection'). And I guess I'm wondering if you have any ideas along this 'thread' (the STAR TREK bad guy thread)

I have not seen all of the Star Trek series. Maybe I should put that on my list of things to watch too.
