Another Fifty Dollars!!

We always put lottery scratch tickets in all the stockings every Christmas. Usually we don't have much luck. It's kind of ridiculous that you pay $10 for a holiday pack and don't win anything. If the pack is $10 there should be at least one winner in there. Well, now there is an automatic ticket for another $2 scratch ticket. But before I opened the holiday pack I scratched a ticket I had hubby buy last night. I had bought some individual scratch tickets then decided to put them all in a Christmas card for him. So last night after mass we stopped at a convenience store and I asked him to buy 4 more scratch tickets. I put them in the stockings, including mine. So the first ticket I scratched was that one. I was just about to do a pretend fake gasp when I realized that I had actually won $10. Then I opened the packet to find the $2 ticket. Then I scratched another ticket and won $5. Then I got a T on a Bingo card for $25. When all was said and done I had won $50 in scratch tickets. That was the best haul we've ever had. My younger daughter won some, and I think my husband got one $5 winner. My older daughter stood in the loser's circle by herself. Anyway, I think 50 is my new lucky number. If you've read previous posts I got a $50 bonus at a book store, and cashed in Air Miles for $50 at the drug store. I won $5 on a Lotto Max ticket so bought another, then won a free ticket on that one. I still have this past week's Lotto Max ticket in my wallet to check next time I'm in a store. Wouldn't it be crazy if I won another $50? Or as my husband said "fifty thousand"?
